Wishing Anne Dufay a Fond Farewell

SE Uplift will be hosting an open house on Thursday, June 29 in honor of departing executive director Anne Dufay. Community members, friends, neighbors, and anyone wishing to say goodbye to Anne Dufay, who is retiring at the end of June, are welcome to come by SE Uplift anytime between 3:00 and 6:00. There will be light refreshments and plenty of opportunities to share a favorite memory with Anne.
Anne brought stability and financial acumen to SE Uplift. In addition to enhancing and upgrading our building, she facilitated the installation of a rain garden and the planting of native species in our garden. She is exiting with a bang after overseeing the ballot count of the largest neighborhood election in Portland history! She will be missed by the many of us she has touched over the past eight years.
Anne’s retirement plans include spending more time with her husband, writing, gardening, and taking care of a rescued horse and newborn filly that she is fostering.
We hope you can stop by for a few minutes or a few hours to wish Anne a happy retirement! You will also have the chance to meet incoming executive director Molly Mayo. Feel free to swing by anytime from 3:00-6:00 to celebrate with us!
