Building Leaders: Building Your Board New Neighborhood Board Member Orientation

Learn skills to improve the effectiveness of your neighborhood association. Be more effective as a board member. New and returning neighborhood association board members are invited to join us for a lively and interactive training on board service. Topics will include an overview of Portland’s community involvement system, SE Uplift’s information sharing and advocacy models, board roles, responsibilities,  regulations, and solutions to common neighborhood association challenges.
